TOEFL or IELTS?In short, would you prefer to speak to: a) a human being who can react and show interest in what you are saying, clarify a question, etc. b) a computer? I know I only speak to my computer when I sh*ut at it when it is misbehaving, otherwise, I think it's a bit odd, don't you? Plus IELTS is accepted in the USA... eg. You need minimum 7 to be considered for Harvard.  |

I sometimes feel some kind of sadness that so many young peoplewith sharp minds are taking IELTS to study abroad. I can understand they want to take advantage of opportunities that were not available to their parents. However, sometimes I think it is easier for an outsider to see the GOOD things here in LITHUANIA. I am sure some of my friends thing I am mad for choosing to live in Lithuania (and yes, I am mad in many ways!) but here is some positive news about Lithuania! 1.We breathe the cleanest air of any major European city - isn't that something to be proud of?! |
