I sometimes feel some kind of sadness that so many young peoplewith sharp minds are taking IELTS to study abroad. I can understand they want to take advantage of opportunities that were not available to their parents. However, sometimes I think it is easier for an outsider to see the GOOD things here in LITHUANIA. I am sure some of my friends thing I am mad for choosing to live in Lithuania (and yes, I am mad in many ways!) but here is some positive news about Lithuania! 1.We breathe the cleanest air of any major European city - isn't that something to be proud of?! |

Procrastination - do you know what that means? It's to do with putting things off that you don't really want to do. Delaying those important jobs. |

I keep hearing and reading this word, 'purpose' spelt and pronounced 'purpoise' (purpojse). Anyway, it should be PURpus. One day I'll figure out how to type here in phonetics. I also keep seeing, 'develope' with an 'e' on the end and pronounced DEvelowpe. It should be 'develop' with the stress on 'VEL' -deVELup. |
